London, UK - The Centre for Sustainability and Responsible Management in the Faculty of Business and Law

The Faculty of Business and Law of the University of Roehampton form a friendly, inspired and diverse community of students and staff who believe that businesses and legal professionals should act with a social conscience - values embedded in our teaching and research. 

The Centre for Sustainability and Responsible Management produces high quality research outputs that are beneficial for a wide range of stakeholders, including local and central governments, businesses and charitable organisations. In addition to publishing papers in internationally renowned academic journals, members of the centre have written blogs, reports and articles for professional bodies.

The Centre adopts an interdisciplinary approach to focus on research and knowledge exchange in relation to issues in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. It employs a responsible management approach given its increased importance academically and in wider society especially as a consequence of threats posed by climate change and Covid-19. It builds on existing research strengths in sustainability and responsible management. Research expertise within the centre includes sustainable and ethical finance, integrated reporting, ethical consumerism, the green economy, sustainable tourism, the circular economy and workplace diversity and equality. 

Bryony Hoskins

Professor

Professor Bryony Hoskins has a chair in Comparative Social Science at the University of Roehampton. She is a world leading expert on citizenship education specialising in inequalities and political socialisation across Europe and the Middle East.
